CW Docs Teach at Sabo Ranch Feild Day

Join us at the Sabo Ranch Field day.  Tanda and Sarah will be teaching the classGood Food/Good Health: Eating Local All Year Long” from 2-4. Here is the rest of the information on the day:

WHAT: Sabo Ranch Field Day

WHEN: June 19, 2010 – 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

WHERE: 303 Pony Rd, Harrison (3 miles off MT Rte 287, between Harrison and Pony, MT)

COST: Adults $15 (includes local lunch), kids FREE

Sabo Ranch, owned by Mark and Jenny Sabo and their sons Riley and Kiril, is committed to managing the land sustainably, and keeping land and animals healthy for future generations. The family educates interested folks about straw bale building, off-grid living, management intensive grazing, natural genetic selection for gourmet, tender grassfed cattle, creating healthy soils for nutritious foods, and preparing whole foods using time-tested techniques for health and nutrient availability.

Directions: Go to Harrison, midway on Route 287 between Ennis and the Interstate 90/Rt. 287 interchange. In Harrison, turn west towards Pony, go 3 miles, and take a left (south) into the Sabo Ranch driveway at 303 Pony Road.

Please note: Much of this event is OUTSIDE, so dress accordingly. Please leave dogs in your car to keep them safe from protective mother cows. There will be a safe field for dog walking about 1/4 mile away from the cattle.
